St. Paul Staff

Rev. Daniel Barz was ordained and installed as pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church on November 24, 2013 after serving as a vicar for two years. He completed the Specific Ministries Pastor program at Concordia Theological Seminiary which is a four year program ending in 2015. 

Pastor Barz is married to Ann and lives in Stevensville. They have four daughters and now enjoy their ten grandchildren.

He is a graduate of both Concordia Ann Arbor and Concordia Seward. For 35 years he served in a variety of Education ministries within the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. This includes teaching at various times grades 3-12, serving as principle and as a Director of Christian Education. Most recently he has served Ongoing Ambassadors for Christ as the Assistant to the Executive Director. He remains available as a local leader for OAFC in the state of Michigan.
